The Firefighter Particulate Corex Hood is an advanced firefighter hood specifically developed for structural firefighting and maximum protection in extreme conditions. It provides a high level of protection against thermal risks such as flashover, contact heat and radiant heat, while also acting as an effective barrier against carcinogenic and harmful particulate matter. Thanks to its fully laminated construction with an integrated PU membrane, exposure to hazardous particles is significantly reduced without compromising breathability or wearer comfort. The hood is made of two lightweight, breathable layers based on aramid fibres, FR viscose, polyamide and elastane, combined with an intermediate layer of 100% PU membrane covering the entire hood. The integration of HeiQ Smart Temp technology helps regulate body temperature more efficiently and reduces the risk of heat stress and fatigue during interventions. Its ergonomic design with a comfortable face opening ensures compatibility with commonly used helmets and breathing masks, allowing seamless integration into existing firefighter protective equipment.
